Anago Samina is a word from the Twi language of Ghana for what we refer to as African black soap; our key ingredient (derived from plantains and cocoa pod hulls) in our signature shampoos. Our company takes this
beautifully crafted treasure and infuses it with the finest herbs and oils to be found to ensure quality. Each bottle is
enveloped in love and care for what we do for the benefit of others.
Do you have to African American to use Anago Samina Products?
Absolutely not. Anago Samina hair care products were created with the African American woman in mind however, you do not have to be
African American to use our products. Our hair care line consists of 100% natural ingredients, safe to use on virtually all hair types.
How do I place an order?
There are a few ways to place an order with Anago Samina. The first option is to go through our online store. This option
is the quickest and easiest way to order. Using this method, you can send your order via our shopping cart and opt to
pay with a money order, cashier's check, paypal or by credit card secured through the PayPal Network. Send any mail in orders to:

Although we will have a copy of your order on file, we ask that you print a copy of your receipt with your payment when
sending orders in. The turnaround time will only begin once payment
has been received.This method will give you the most accurate shipping costs.
If you would like to call in your order, you may call our voicemail system @ (901)336.1349. In doing so, be sure to
speak audibly and include your name, contact number, and items you wish to order as well as quantities. You will hear from us
shortly after with further instruction.
You may also opt to print an order form and send in your payment. If you choose to order by mail, be sure to add to your
total shipping fees listed at the bottom of the page. If we receive an order that does not include shipping fees, we will not complete your order. You will receive notification with further information.
What is the expected turnaround time for an order?
Because our products are handmade and bottled upon order, our expected turnaround time is 2 to 3 days. This means that if
you place an order today, it will be shipped out 2 to 3 days later. We do not expedite orders and work on a first come,
first serve basis so that we are fair to all.
How are orders shipped and can I track their progress once they are shipped?
All orders leaving the Anago Samina base are shipped via FedEx or USPS to ensure the safety and arrival of the package. We offer the choice of sending vis the Post Office or Fedex to help insure the most affordable shipping rates best rates possible for our clients. Once an order is complete, you will be sent a tracking number via email which will allow you to track your package from start to finish. In shipping via Fedex, we are unable to send packages to Post Office (P.O.) boxes, so if your mailing address is a P.O. Box, please select USPS in the shipping option.
So your products are 100% Natural, are they vegan as well?
With the exception or our Honey Sweet and Honey Bee products, all products are safe for our vegan friends
to use.
Do I have to have natural hair to use natural products?
Though we definitely discourage people from using chemicals or heat in their hair, you do not have to have natural hair to
use natural products. To each his own. By natural hair, we at Anago Samina mean hair that is not chemically altered or
manipulated using heat. Please bare in mind that our products (as well as others) behave differently for different people so if you are unsure something will work for you, we suggest you order a sample pack before committing to a full sized bottle or
jar.
FREE SHIPPING?? Who Qualifies?
Being a Memphis based company, in support of other Memphis companies, we offer free shipping to Memphis area salons,
barbershops, spas and other community assets. These deliveries are made on SATURDAYS only. If you qualify for this
opportunity, but are not interesting in waiting for Saturday to enjoy your treats, we will send them via FedEx for your
convenience. The same turnaround time applies.
If you spend $50 or more with us, we will also waive your shipping fees and you will be notified of any applicable shipping details once your order has been complete.
What is your return policy?
Because of the nature of our products, we do not accept returns and only issue refunds in special circumstances. For the full view of our return policy, click here.
What kinds or herbs and oils go into your products and how do they benefit me?
The herbs and oils that we use vary from lavender as far east as amla. Each herb and oil has been methodically researched
and formulated to ensure the best quality product available. We are strong disbelievers in adding unneccesary fluff to what
we make. Some of the major herbs we use include rosemary, tea tree, amla and lavender just to name a few, to find
